A Campaign for the preservation of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish
The preservation of our Church
Our church building has served us well for over 80 years. Its Spanish-mission style is beloved by all of our parishioners. As with all building of this age, major repairs and renovation become necessary over time and will include:

Removal and Restoration of stained glass windows

New elevator (Summer 2010)

New front steps and railings (with handicap accessibility) (fall 2009)

Replace HVAC system

Repair church roof (completed fall 2008)

Refinish pews

New wood exterior doors and hardware

Renonvations of basement restrooms (including handicap accessibility)

The preservation of our School
- Repair school roof and masonry (completed summer 2008)

Replace gutter and leaders (completed summer 2008)
The preservation of our property
- Overly paving of existing parking and new paving

Drainage improvements
The goal of our campaign is to raise a minimun of $2,000,000 toward our overall need. These are great times for Our Lady of Lourdes, yet this campaign presents a true challenge of our parish to address our needs today and for the future. Seizing this opportunity will not come without sacrifice. Throughout the history of our parish, the people of this parish have always made the necessary sacrifices in all aspects of parish life and Stewardship. We are confident that the preservation of our parish facilities will be met with the same degree of commitment and participation.

Your Pledge can be given In Memory or Honor of a Loved One
Memorials are special ways of honoring the people we love, whether they are living or deceased. These memorials are often made for a special intention or in thanksgiving for blesssings received from God.
Tax Advantages of Thoughtful Giving
Federal and state laws on income and inheritance taxes encourage charitable giving. All contributions to our campaign are tax deductible for those who itemize their deductions.
Your Decision To Give
No one can tell you how much you should give. The individual parishioner/family is the only one who actually decides what to contribute, since the financial obligations of each family are dfiferent. What you give will be held in the strictest confidence.
