Camp Lourdes
A Summer Bible Camp
August 8th - August 19th, 2011
from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
Ages 4 - 9 years old
this years theme is
"Follow the Signs of Peace"
Join us this summer for crafts, Bible lessons, music, sports and fun! Each day will begin with a welcoming and a Bible lesson with activity. The rest of the day will consist of three 35 minute sessions of Music, Arts & Crafts, and Sports/Games. A mid-day snack will also be provided. Camp Counselors will be trained teens from the parish. Each child will be assigned a group and a camp counselor who will be responsible for them from arrival to dismissal.
A sample schedule of your child's day will look like this:
9:30 - 9:45 Arrival & Welcoming
9:45 - 10:20 Lessons & Skills
10:20 - 10:55 Arts & Crafts
10:55 - 11:10 Snack
11:10 - 11:45 Music
11:45 - 12:20 Sports
12:20 - 12:30 Closing and Dismissal
* Registration will be on a first come, first serve basis. All registration forms are due by July 28th.
* The cost of the camp is $110. per child, which will include the two weeks of Camp, a Camp Lourdes T-shirt, daily snacks, and art supplies. A $20. deposit is due with the registration form.
* Checks can be written to Our Lady of Lourdes Church and should be mailed to the rectory at 65 Wright Ave, Malverne, NY 11565 - Please Mark Camp Lourdes on envelope!
* Detailed information and medical forms will be mailed out at athe end of July to confirm registration.
