Our Lady of Lourdes School is pleased to announce we are participating in the NCEA National Day of Giving for Catholic Schools taking place today, January 28th.
This year’s campaign is all about STEM with all proceeds directly benefiting the OLL STEM program.
Why STEM?
In an ever changing and increasingly complex world, it is important for our children to learn problem-solving skills and how to gather and evaluate information. At Our Lady of Lourdes School in Malverne, we recognize this importance and are committed to growing hands-on learning through our STEM program.
Your generosity will directly benefit this program. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to purchase STEM supplies and classroom technology devices including iPads, Apple Pens and Virtual Reality capabilities.

During the two-day filming event, students discussed the importance of STEM in their daily lives, brainstormed ideas regarding the video’s: content, script & creative direction, shot film footage using green screen technology and created original artwork.
