Blessing of the Animals – Feast of St. Francis of Assisi

Bring your beloved pets and join us at Our Lady of Lourdes for our annual Blessing of the Animals in celebration of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals and creation.

Rain or Shine

All pets—and their people!—are welcome as we gather as a parish community to give thanks for the joy, companionship, and unconditional love our animals bring into our lives.

Inspired by St. Francis, who saw all of creation as a reflection of God’s love, we will offer a special blessing for our pets and pray in gratitude for all God’s creatures.

Whether they have paws, feathers, fins, or fur, bring them along for this special afternoon at Our Lady of Lourdes!

We look forward to seeing you and your furry (or feathered!) friends! 🐾
