Honoring Our Blessed Mother: The Crowning of Mary

As the month of May begins, the Church turns in a special way to honor our Blessed Mother, Mary. At Our Lady of Lourdes, this beautiful tradition continues with the Crowning of Mary, a moment of prayer, devotion, and gratitude for her loving “yes” to God.

We invite you to join us on Sunday, May 3 at the 12:00 PM Mass as we celebrate this meaningful devotion together as a parish family. Through the crowning, we recognize Mary as our spiritual mother and seek her intercession in our lives, our families, and our community.

May is a time to reflect on Mary’s example of faith, humility, and trust in God. As we gather for this special celebration, we are reminded of the divine message she received and the love she continues to share with all of us.

We especially invite our First Holy Communion children to participate by wearing their communion attire, adding to the beauty and reverence of this cherished tradition.
