Join Us for the Chrism Mass at the Cathedral of Saint Agnes – April 15, 2025

Each year, the Diocese of Rockville Centre gathers for a profound and beautiful tradition of our Catholic faith — the Chrism Mass. We invite all parishioners, families, and friends to attend this sacred celebration at the Cathedral of Saint Agnes, located at 29 Quealy Place, Rockville Centre, NY 11570, on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 4:00 P.M.

The Chrism Mass is a truly special event in the liturgical calendar. During this solemn liturgy, the bishop blesses the oils used in sacraments throughout the year: the Oil of Catechumens, the Oil of the Sick, and the Sacred Chrism. These holy oils will then be distributed to parishes across the diocese and used in baptisms, confirmations, anointings of the sick, and ordinations. It’s a powerful reminder of our unity as one body in Christ.
