As we continue celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, we are blessed in a very special way this Lent. Our parish will welcome The Most Reverend Robert J. Brennan, Bishop of the Diocese of Brooklyn, who will lead our Parish Lenten Mission.
This is a moment of grace not only for our parish community, but for every individual seeking renewal, peace, and a deeper relationship with Christ.
Mission Evenings
Sunday, March 1 – Tuesday, March 3
Each evening at 7:00 PM
Additionally, on Monday, March 2, Bishop Brennan will also celebrate the 9:00 AM Mass.
A Time of Renewal
A parish mission is an invitation to pause — to step away from the busyness of daily life and allow God to speak to the heart. During Lent, the Church calls us to prayer, repentance, and conversion. Hearing the Word preached by our bishop reminds us that we belong to something larger than ourselves: the living Church guided by Christ.
Whether you attend all three nights or just one, this mission offers a meaningful opportunity to:
Reflect on your faith
Experience spiritual encouragement
Prepare your heart for Easter
Grow together as a parish family
A Centennial Blessing
During this historic anniversary year, Bishop Brennan’s presence among us connects our parish to the wider Church and highlights the legacy of faith passed down through generations at Our Lady of Lourdes. As we honor our past, we also renew our commitment to the future — continuing to be a parish rooted in prayer, service, and love.
We warmly invite all parishioners, families, neighbors, and friends to join us for these evenings of prayer and inspiration.
Come as you are.
Come seeking hope.
Come ready to encounter Christ.
All are welcome.
